Welcome to the User Guide!

What is the User Guide?

The documentation for Reservium contains several main sections, all accessible from the top navigation bar:

  • The User Guide that you're currently reading contains all about the functionalities available to every authorized user.
  • The Manager Guide contains all the information for users with the manager role, e.g. all about the manager features.
  • The Hosting Guide contains all the technical information related to the setup and update of your reservium self-hosted server.
  • The Contribute Guide contains information about how you can contribute to Reservium.
  • The API Guide contains detailed information related to the different endpoints of the backend API.
  • The Release Notes section provides a complete history of changes for both the backend (API) and the frontend (UI), including all updates, improvements, and bug fixes.

If you are new to Reservium you can get some introduction in the next section, otherwise feel free to peruse and find what you are looking for using the navigation on the left.

What is the difference between Users and Managers?

Reservium distinguishes between two roles: User and Manager.

Managers have extended capabilities, such as access to the Manager Panel and the ability to perform additional operations related to reservations. They also carry extra responsibilities, including managing services and calendar access, as well as configuring related rules and settings.
